Paleo Margarita
Ingredients: 1 1/2 ounces 100% agave tequila, juice of 1 lime, a splash of orange extract, and ice.
Instructions: Mix the tequila, lime juice, and orange extract together in a shaker with ice. Shake well and serve over ice in a salt-rimmed glass.
Strawberry Mint Mojito
Ingredients: 1 1/2 ounces white rum, fresh mint leaves, juice of 1 lime, 2-3 strawberries (mashed), and club soda.
Instructions: Muddle the strawberries and mint leaves at the bottom of a glass. Add the rum, lime juice, and ice. Stir well. Top with club soda
Sugar-Free Moscow Mule
Ingredients: 1 1/2 ounces vodka, juice of 1/2 lime, 4 ounces diet ginger beer, and ice.
Instructions: In a copper mug, pour in the vodka and lime juice over ice. Top off with the ginger beer, stir, and serve.
Spicy Paleo Bloody Mary
Ingredients: 1 1/2 ounces vodka, 4 ounces tomato juice, 1/2 teaspoon horseradish, 1/2 teaspoon Tabasco, 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, pinch of salt and pepper, and a stick of celery.
Instructions: Mix all ingredients except celery in a shaker with ice. Shake well and pour into a tall glass. Garnish with celery stick.
Cucumber Lemon Gin and Tonic
Ingredients: 1 1/2 ounces gin, juice of 1/2 lemon, slices of cucumber, diet tonic water, and ice.
Instructions: In a glass, muddle a few slices of cucumber. Add gin and lemon juice. Top off with diet tonic water and serve over ice.
Blackberry Lemon Smash
Ingredients: 1 1/2 ounces vodka or gin, handful of fresh blackberries, juice of 1/2 lemon, a few leaves of fresh mint, and club soda.
Instructions: Muddle the blackberries and mint at the bottom of a glass. Add the vodka or gin, lemon juice, and ice. Stir well. Top with club soda.
Remember, while these cocktails are sugar-free and paleo-friendly, they still contain alcohol and should be consumed responsibly.
